"Motiv" can count on attracting several tens of thousands of LTE users - no more than 3% of subscribers from the existing base of its GSM subscribers (2.4 million) within the first year after the launch of the commercial 4G network, the head of the wireless technologies department J`son & Partners Consulting Vitaly Solonin.

"In the longer term, the growth of the 4G subscriber base is possible due to the expansion and reduction of the cost of LTE subscriber devices, primarily smartphones. At the same time, competition with federal operators will increase," Vitaly Solonin said in an interview with ComNews.

VimpelCom is still preparing for the full launch of LTE networks in these regions (in the Sverdlovsk, Kurgan regions, Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous districts). The best results in terms of speed. Perhaps this is due to the low load of the new operator's network.
It is important that Tele2 does not have 3G in Nizhnevartovsk. Therefore, in order to take advantage of the operator's lucrative offers, you need to get a device with LTE support.
Tele2 gets a big minus in karma for the complete absence of mobile Internet at the GPP.
An incomprehensible loss also occurred in new buildings. When MTS and Beeline switched to 3G, Tele2 got lost after one measurement.

The speed at the selected points is definitely better than Megaphone and Motive. In six comparisons, it was faster than Beeline.

Despite its simplicity and laconic design, TurboPhone4G Compact 2108 looks stylish and expensive. This is largely due to the high-quality plastic used in the construction of the case. The material is glossy at the front and matte at the back. There is a metallized insert on the sides.


There are two color options available for sale - black and white.

On the front of the smartphone, in addition to a 4.5-inch screen, you can see a speaker for phone calls, position sensors, proximity sensors and a front camera. There are three touch buttons control of the apparatus. They are responsible for launching the manager of running applications and context menu, return to the home screen and go back one level. The designations are unobtrusive, but clearly visible.

The placement of the individual elements on the front of the case is the same as in the first model. The right side surface houses the volume keys and the power button. At the top there is a connector for a charger and connection to a computer, as well as a hole for connecting a wired headset.


There is a camera and LED flash on the back. At the bottom there is a speaker for playing external calls and music. The volume reserve is enough to hear an incoming call at a sufficiently large distance.

The back cover is securely attached. Removing it is easy. To do this, just find a recess at the bottom and pry off the cover. Under the cover is a removable 1600 mAh battery. Immediately you can see the slot for a SIM card and a compartment for a microSD memory card.

TurboPhone4G 2209

TurboPhone4G 2209 is slightly larger than its counterparts. It uses a 5-inch screen. The device itself has a rectangular shape, but its lower ends are slightly rounded. All in all - a classic.

The body of the smartphone is made entirely of plastic. The front is glossy and the back is matte. The screen protection is good. However, it is best to keep the phone away from metal and sharp objects.


On sale there are three options for the design of the case - white, black and gold.

As for the placement of individual elements, almost the entire front part of the device is occupied by a touchscreen display. Above it is a speaker for voice calls. To the left is the front camera. In addition, there is a motion and position sensor.

As for the controls, there is a power / screen lock button on the left side. The paired volume rocker is located on the right side. The movement of the buttons is hard, but very clear. I did not find any discomfort.


At the bottom there is a standard microUSB connector for charging and connecting to a computer. There is also a speaker for reproducing external signals. At the top you can see a 3.5 mm headphone hole.

The main camera is 5 megapixels and the LED flash is located on the back of the smartphone. A 2000 mAh battery is hidden behind the back cover. In addition, there is a slot for a SIM card and a slot for a microSD memory card.

I can praise the build. There were no questions to her in the test devices. The housings did not creak, the parts were fitted close to each other. It can be seen that plastic is not the most expensive, but strong and reliable .

TurboPhone4G Compact 2108 and TurboPhone4G Compact 1210 received identical 4.5-inch screens. The screen has a resolution of 480x854 pixels, 218 ppi. For the budget option, the characteristics are at the level. Screen grain is not visible.

The TurboPhone4G Compact 2108 has a much more modest front camera. It shoots at VGA resolution. The quality is not perfect, although it is enough for video calls.
