There are quite a few ways to prepare a USB flash drive for installing Windows 10, I will analyze the most popular ones:

Attention!!! For any of the described methods, you need to prepare a USB flash drive - transfer all data from it or be prepared for the fact that all information on it will be deleted.

Make a bootable Windows 10 USB stick by copying.

This method is extremely simple and requires a minimum of action from you, BUT it is suitable only for those who want to install Windwos 10 on a computer / laptop with UEFI instead of BIOS.

UEFI (Uniform EFI) is a standard firmware interface for computers that replaces BIOS. It is quite simple to distinguish it from BIOS, it has a graphical interface + mouse cursor control is available.

If you are planning to install Windows 10 on a computer / laptop with BIOS or you do not know what is used on it, it is better to use any other method described below.

For this method we need:

Installing Windows USB / DVD Download Tool does not hide in itself pitfalls, a few clicks "Next" and a shortcut with the utility on your desktop. Next, it remains to run the utility.

You will see a window where you need to select ISO windows image 10. Click the "Brouse" button and specify the path to the image. Then click "Next".

Select the USB flash drive you want to burn Windows 10 to.

A message will appear stating that all information from the flash drive will be deleted, click "Erase USB Device".

Then another window with similar content will appear, click "Yes".

Within a few minutes your USB stick will be ready. As a result, you will receive a line that everything is ready "Bootable USB device created successfully".

Now you can close the window with the program.

How to make a bootable USB flash drive using UltraISO.

Before that, I considered ways to create bootable flash drive Windows tools, in this way I suggest using the third-party program UtraISO.

For this method you will need:

1) USB flash drive with a volume of at least 6 GB;

2) UltraISO program;

Download and install the program UltraISO... We will be satisfied with the free version, so on the site select "Free Trial"

Select the Russian version and download it.

Installing the program comes down to a few clicks of the "Next" button, so I think no one will have any problems with this. Launch UltraISO and select "Trial period".

Then select "File" - "Open".

Please indicate ISO image Windows 10 and click "Open"

Make sure that your USB flash drive is listed in the "Disk Drive" field and click "Burn".

A window will appear warning that all information from the USB drive will be deleted, click "Yes".

Then you need to wait a few minutes while the UltraISO program prepares the bootable USB flash drive. As a result, in the program window you should see "Recording completed!"

Now you can start installing Windows 10 from a USB flash drive.

We make an installation USB flash drive Windows 10 using the command line.

I bring to your attention the most ascetic way to create a Windows 10 installation flash drive - using command line... For this method we need:

1) USB flash drive with a volume of at least 6 GB;

Run Command Prompt as Administrator.

Below is a print screen of the command line indicating the commands to create a bootable USB flash drive. Follow each step step by step. Even below it is described why this or that command is needed.

diskpart- an interpreter that allows you to manage objects (disks, partitions or volumes).

list disk- viewing disks / flash drives connected to the computer.

select disk 1- selection of a disk with which actions will be performed in the future. You must specify the number assigned by the OS to your USB drive. Be careful with your choice.

clean- disk cleanup

create partition primary- creating a partition on a USB flash drive

select partition 1- selection of the first section.

active- mark the selected section as active

format fs = NTFS- formatting the partition in NTFS (the process is quite lengthy, it can take more than a dozen minutes).

assign- drive letter assignment

exit- output

Now you need to unzip the Windows 10 ISO image.

And copy everything to a USB stick.

In this article I have described 5 different ways, how can you make a bootable USB flash drive Windows 10, you just have to choose which of the methods suits you and use it.

How to install Windows 10 from a flash drive - step-by-step instruction+ some tips

The way how to install Windows 10 from a flash drive is not difficult for an experienced user of Microsoft operating systems.

Those who install such a platform for the first time or have encountered distributions already prepared and installed on the disk before, should learn a few nuances - from creating bootable media to features.

Content:

Create bootable USB media

To create a bootable USB flash drive with the Windows 10 operating system, the user will need a drive with a volume of at least 8 GB - the size of the recorded files, depending on the chosen platform option, can reach 6.5 GB.

You should also provide for the presence on where Windows will be installed, at least 16 GB of space - although, taking into account updates and system programs, it is desirable to leave from 40 to 60 GB.

For fast system performance, it is best if it is installed on a solid-state drive SSD - this option is more expensive, so most applications (including games) should be installed on.

You should know : Typically freeing or creating an entire disk partition for installation. Installation in an already existing and even filled with information volume is not prohibited, but it is not recommended, as it can create unnecessary problems when reinstalling the system.

The next step in creating a USB flash drive with the system is to download the appropriate image from the official Microsoft website (for example, a 32-bit or 64-bit version of the system).

It is undesirable to install the system from extraneous resources- besides the fact that such platforms are unlicensed, you can also download malicious code along with them.

After that, you can download and install the program for burning discs from the image - for example, (the utility is paid, but it will work during a trial period of 30 days).

Further steps for creating a USB flash drive with Windows are as follows:

  • A USB flash drive is connected to the computer on which the system image is downloaded;
  • The UltraISO program starts and the button is pressed. "Trial period";

  • In the menu, select the "File" section and the "Open" command, after which the image with the system is located and opened;

  • In the section, the command for recording the hard disk image is selected;
  • In the window that opens, it is indicated on which medium the files will be written (if there is only one flash drive installed, the determination occurs automatically);

  • The button "Record" is pressed.

Before recording, the utility may ask for permission to format the flash drive.

The file transfer process takes a few minutes.

After completing the recording, the utility should be closed (if the installation will be performed on a different PC, and not on the one on which the recording was carried out) and proceed to the next steps.

Installing a boot from a USB flash drive in BIOS

Before installing the system, in most cases, you need to change the way the system boots - instead of the default hard (or solid state drive) will need to be specified as boot disk USB flash drive.

To do this, you need to go to the BIOS interface of a computer or laptop and change its settings.

To go to the BIOS, you need to press a certain key while the computer is booting - most often it is indicated on the screen.

Each computer and, moreover, a laptop has its own way of entering - in most cases it is F2 or DEL, but sometimes it is F1, F8, F10 or Esc.

You should know : The key depends on the motherboard model. If the user was unable to determine what to click for, there are several options to check. Typically, this is a button from the top row of the keyboard.

After entering the interface menu, it is required perform the following actions:

  • Using the arrows and the Enter key, find the Boot tab;
  • Find and open the item Hard Disk Drives;

  • Select the first line, where the hard disk is usually already indicated, press Enter and select the USB flash drive in the drop-down menu;
  • Return to the previous window and find the item or Hard Disk Boot Priority;

  • The flash drive is installed as the main drive at boot time.

Now you can exit the menu, save the changes made (F10 key) and restart the computer.

At this point, the installation of the operating system begins.

Important : In some interfaces (especially if it is not BIOS, but UEFI), the names and locations of sections and menu items will differ. But, in general, the steps for changing the boot disk will be about the same.

Starting OS installation

If all the previous actions (writing a USB flash drive and changing the boot method) were performed correctly, the operating system will automatically be installed on the rebooted computer.

The download is indicated by the Windows 10 logo on the screen.

First stages

The installation of the operating system begins by offering the choice of language, time format and method of entering information from the keyboard. In Russian-language versions of the operating system, Russian is set by default for all three items.

Next steps of installation should be like this:

  • The "Install" button is pressed and the system restore item is selected;
  • Enter the activation key operating system (it is not necessary to do it right away - sometimes the item can be skipped after installation);

  • Select the edition of the operating system (at the discretion of the user, if there is no license yet - or the one for which the key was purchased);

  • Read the license agreement, agree to its terms and click "Next";

  • Select installation type operating system.

There are several options for installing Windows.

The user can update the software by restoring the system files and saving all parameters, programs and settings - while the old platform remains in the Windows.old folder.

The advantage of this method is the absence of the need to reconfigure web browsers and other useful applications, reinstall utilities and games.

Another way- custom installation of the system, which allows you to get a "clean" Windows on your computer, without any remaining system files.

In this case, the user can re-partition the partitions or use the already created disks.

The result of this process is the appearance of a "clean" operating system on the desktop screen, requiring you to spend some more time on configuration.

Version 1703

For version 1703, released less than a year ago, the final stages of Windows installation are slightly different.

The setup is done in a few steps:

  • A region is selected from the proposed list - the functionality of both the system as a whole and individual applications depends on it. If desired, the settings can be changed later.
  • Select the first and secondary (optional) keyboard layouts and select a keyboard shortcut to switch between them. By default, English is selected as the main language.

  • Select a setting method (most users are satisfied with the "Personal use" option).
  • Configure the parameters for the main account - in this case, in the same way as for the 1607th version, you should either connect to the network and log into the account, or enter temporary data offline, which can be subsequently changed.
  • Introduce user password(or select the "Next" option to install it later).
  • Configure privacy settings by selecting the required items.

After that, the user just needs to wait until the system is installed and make all the necessary settings.

The same steps are required for the final step of the build 1709 installation.

System Setup

After the system is installed, you should configure it - including, load the drivers for all connected and built-in devices (including sound, network and,).

Some of these control programs are automatically installed by the system, the rest are installed manually.

It is advisable to do this as follows:

  • for laptops- from the websites of the manufacturer of the model in the support section;
  • for desktop PCs- from the manufacturer's resources of the motherboard installed on it;
  • for video cards- from the web pages of AMD or Nvidia.

Drivers should not be installed from third-party resources or using programs such as.

At the same time, control programs often turn out to be outdated, and sometimes viruses are downloaded along with them.

Important : After all control programs are installed and the operating system is activated, it is recommended to create a system recovery image. This will help you install the system from scratch next time.

Now you can install the antivirus program and the minimum required application package for the user.

Possible installation problems

When installing an operating system from a USB stick, a user may encounter a number of problems.

Sometimes a flash drive is simply not perceived by a computer or laptop, and the reason is the incorrectly selected recording format.

In order to guarantee the compatibility of the drive with the BIOS of a computer, when using the UltraISO utility, you should choose not USB-HDD +, but USB-HDD + v2.

The flash drive may not be readable for other reasons. For example, due to a malfunctioning USB port or problems with the drive itself. In the first case, the issue is solved by using another connector, in the second - by writing to a new USB flash drive.

Owners of optical drives with a connected one sometimes have to face the inability to complete the installation of the operating system. The problem lies in stopping the loading of the operating system files at the level of 25–84% - while the error message 0xC1900101-0x20004 appears on the screen. The problem is solved simply - just disconnect the cable from the drive and put it back in place after installation.

In the list of installation problems, you can find the error C1900101-20017.

It occurs only when trying to install the system on a computer with an overclocked Pentium G3258 processor. the error is eliminated by disabling overclocking or one of the CPU cores.

It is not uncommon for an error to appear on PCs or laptops with UEFI boot enabled. To solve the problem, it is recommended to change the BIOS settings. This is easy to do - just go to the BIOS interface at boot time, find the parameter with the name and change its value to "Disabled".

Summarizing

Installing from a USB stick is the fastest, and sometimes the only (many modern PCs and laptops no longer come with disk drives) way to get a modern operating system.

This does not take much time and knowledge.

Depending on the performance of the computer, all stages will take no more than 3 hours, and the novice user will receive a certain experience of working with software Microsoft.

As of the end of 2019 at booting Windows 10 for installation by the methods described below is loaded Windows version 10 1909 November 2019 Update. If you have already installed licensed Windows 10 on your computer or laptop, obtained in any way, you do not need to enter the product key during installation (you should click "I do not have a product key" at the appropriate stage). For more information about the features of activation, see the article: (you can work without activation, see). If you only need to fix problems with the installed OS, while it starts, you can use a simpler method:.

  1. On the first screen of the installer, you will be asked to select a language, time format and keyboard input method - you can leave the default values, Russian.
  2. The next window is the "Install" button, which should be clicked to continue, as well as the "System Restore" item below, which will not be considered in this article, but is very useful in some situations.
  3. You will be taken to the product key entry window for Windows activation 10. In most cases, except when you purchased a product key separately, all you need to do is click “I don't have a product key”. Activation will occur automatically after connecting to the Internet, if previously licensed Windows 10 was installed on this computer or laptop. Additional options for actions and when to apply them are described in the "Additional information" section at the end of the manual.
  4. The next step (it may not appear if the edition was identified by the key, including from UEFI) - select the edition of Windows 10 to install. Choose the option that was previously installed (if activation of the pinned digital license is required).
  5. Read the terms of the license agreement and accept them. Once this has been done, click the "Next" button.
  6. One of the most important points is choosing the type of installation for Windows 10. There are two options: new system when the disk is installed old version OS) - in this case, all parameters, programs, files of the previous installed system, and herself old system saved to the Windows.old folder (but this option is not always possible to run). That is, this process is similar to a simple update, it will not be considered here. Custom installation - this item allows you to perform a clean installation without saving (or partially saving) user files, and during installation, you can partition disks, format them, thereby clearing the computer from the files of the previous Windows. It is this method that will be described.
  7. After specifying a custom installation, you will be taken to the window for selecting a disk partition for installation (possible installation errors at this stage are described below). That being said, if it's not new HDD or SSD, you will see a much larger number of partitions than you saw in Explorer before, an example is shown in the screenshot. I will try to explain the options for action (also in the video at the end of the instructions, I show and tell you in detail what and how you can do in this window).
  • If you have multiple physical disks on your computer, they will appear as Disk 0, Disk 1 and beyond. Everyone can have multiple sections. Regardless of which drive you install Windows 10 to, Disk 0 will be used to write system files, hidden partitions, and the bootloader. Therefore, ideally, install the OS on Disk 0 (otherwise, if this disk is disconnected, the system on another disk will not start). If, for example, you purchased new SSD and it is displayed as Disk 1, you can try to find a separate item in BIOS for specifying the order of hard drives and put SSD in the first place, or change the SATA cables (if this interface is used) between the two disks so that the desired disk will appear in the installer as Disk 0.
  • If you had Windows preinstalled by the manufacturer, then in addition to the system partitions on Disk 0 (their number and sizes may differ 100, 300, 450 MB), you will see another (usually) partition 10-20 gigabytes in size. I do not recommend touching it in any way, as it contains a system recovery image that allows you to quickly return your computer or laptop to its factory state when the need arises. Also, do not modify system-reserved partitions (unless you decide to completely wipe out the hard drive).
  • As a rule, during a clean installation of the system, it is placed on the partition corresponding to the C drive, with its formatting (or deletion). To do this, select this section (you can determine it by its size), click "Format". And after that, having selected it, click "Next" to continue installing Windows 10. If messages appear about the inability to install to this section, click on the message to get information about the error (they are discussed later in the instructions). Data on other partitions and disks will not be affected. If you had Windows 7 or XP installed on your computer before installing Windows 10, a more reliable option would be to delete the partition (but not format it), select the unallocated area (unallocated disk space) that appears and click "Next" to automatically create the necessary system partitions by the program installation (or use of existing ones, if available).
  • If you skip formatting or uninstallation and select for installation a partition on which the OS is already installed, then the previous Windows installation will be placed in the Windows.old folder, and your files on the C drive will not be affected (but there will be quite a lot of junk on the hard drive).
  • Optimal method: if there is nothing important on your system disk (Disk 0), you can completely delete all partitions of this disk one by one, select a single unallocated space on Disk 0 and click the "Next" button this will avoid almost any errors and problems. You can create disk D (if required) after installing the system.
  • If the previous system is installed on partition or drive C, and to install Windows 10 you choose another partition or disk, then as a result, you will have two operating systems installed on your computer at the same time with the choice of the one you need when you boot your computer.

Note: if, when you select a partition on the disk, you see a message that it is impossible to install Windows 10 on this partition, click on this text, and then, depending on what the full text of the error will be, use following instructions: ,

  1. After choosing your variant of the partition for installation, click the "Next" button. Copying starts Windows files 10 to the computer.
  2. After the reboot, you will not need to take any action for some time - "Preparation", "Component configuration" will take place. In this case, the computer may restart, and sometimes "hang" with a black or blue screen. In this case, just wait, this is a normal process - sometimes it takes hours. Important: if after rebooting you start the Windows 10 setup program again, just put the boot from hard disk or SSD in BIOS or Windows Boot Manager in UEFI, or disconnect the USB flash drive, or do not press any key when prompted to do so.
  3. The next step is to configure the basic parameters of the system. The first point is the choice of the region.
  4. The second step is to confirm that the keyboard layout is correct.
  5. The installer then prompts you to add additional keyboard layouts. If you do not require input options other than Russian and English, skip this step (English is present by default).
  6. If you have active network adapters, you will be prompted to connect to the Internet. You can do this, especially if you plan to use a Microsoft account. If you need a local account, I would recommend not to connect to the network until the installation of Windows 10. To do this, click on the item "I have no Internet" and "Continue limited installation" in the next window.
  7. If you have an Internet connection, you will be offered two options Windows settings 10 - for personal use or for organization (use this option only if you need to connect your computer to working network, domain, and Windows servers in the organization). Usually, you should choose the option for personal use.
  8. At the next stage of the installation, the account is configured. Windows entries 10. If you have an active Internet connection, you are prompted to set up a Microsoft account or enter an existing one. You can click "Offline Account" at the bottom left to create a local account(on Windows 10 Home latest versions there is no "Offline account" item, but its creation is still possible, see). If there is no Internet connection, a local account is created. When installing the latest Windows 10 versions, after entering your username and password, you will also need to ask security questions to recover your password if it is lost.
  9. When using a Microsoft account, you will see a prompt to use a PIN to sign in. You will also be prompted to set up OneDrive.
  10. If you select Offline account, you will be prompted again about the benefits of using a Microsoft account (opt out), and then you will be asked to enter your computer username. Do not enter the name Administrator, as it is assigned to a hidden system account. Any user you create with any name will be a Windows 10 administrator anyway.
  11. Enter a password for your account, confirm it, and then select and provide answers to security questions to be used in case you forget your password.
  12. You will be prompted to enable the log Windows actions 10 - new function that stores the history of programs, documents, sites used with the ability to access from other devices with the same Microsoft account. Enable or disable - at your discretion.
  13. And the final step of the setup is to configure Windows 10 privacy settings, which include location data transmission, speech recognition, diagnostic data transmission, and the creation of your advertising profile. Read carefully and disable what you don't need. I turn off all the items, but if you have a laptop or tablet, you can recommend leaving the Location and Find device enabled, this can help you find it in case of loss.
  14. Following this, the last stage will begin - setting up and installing standard applications, Windows preparation 10 to launch, on the screen it will look like the inscription: "This may take a few minutes." In fact, it can take minutes or even hours, especially on "weak" computers, you should not forcefully shut down or restart it at this time.
  15. Finally, you will see a working Windows table 10 - the system has been installed successfully, you can start configuring and studying it.

Video instructions for installing Windows 10 from a USB flash drive

In the proposed video instruction, I tried to visually show all the nuances and the entire process of installing Windows 10 from start to finish.

Actions after installing the OS on the computer

The first thing to worry about after a clean installation of the system on your computer is installing the drivers. At the same time, Windows 10 will automatically download many device drivers when there is an Internet connection. Most drivers will work fine, but just in case, keep in mind that you can download them:

  • For laptops - from the official website of the laptop manufacturer, in the support section, for your specific laptop model. At the same time, even if the official website has drivers only for Windows 8.1, 8 and 7, they can be installed in Windows 10, they will usually work. Cm.
  • For PC - from the site of the motherboard manufacturer for your model.
  • For a video card - from the respective sites NVIDIA or AMD (or even Intel), depending on which video card is used. Cm. .

The second action I recommend is after the successful installation of all the drivers and the activation of the system, but even before installing the programs, (by the built-in means of the OS or using third-party programs) in order to significantly speed up reinstalling Windows if necessary.

If after a clean installation of the system on a computer something does not work (for example) or you need to configure something (for example), most likely you can find possible solutions problems on my site, or use the site search in the menu, asking the question in your own words: with a high probability, a solution will be found.

Friends, hello everyone! In this article, I want to show you how clean installing Windows 10 from a USB flash drive through BIOS. The whole thing will take place on a living example of a budget laptop Lenovo. After all, if you remember, a special boot drive has already been prepared.

Therefore, now the whole process will be shown from start to finish, so that even novice users will not have any questions. And I must say right away that there is nothing abstruse in this matter, you just have to do it with your own hands once and all fears will go away by themselves.

At the first step, you need to go to BIOS to install the initial boot from a previously prepared flash drive. I described in great detail how to do this in. In our case, the correct parameters are as follows.

Before exiting, do not forget to press the key combination to save the changes. The next step is to specify your regional preferences. In general, no comment, just look at the picture below.

In the next window we are waiting for "Windows Activation". Therefore, if you have license key then you can enter it. If it is not there, or some pirated activator will be used in the future, click the "I do not have a product key" item.

Now you will need to specify the version and bitness of the operating system to be installed. Personally, I recommend the most complete, that is, select the "Windows 10 Pro" item.

After that, you should accept several licensing agreements of the following type.

And here comes one of the key moments. Now you need to choose the type of installation. Since we want to carry out a clean installation, then, accordingly, we select the second item, which is called "Custom: Windows Installation Only".

At the same time, it is important to understand that in this case all information will be deleted from the system drive C, since in the future we will have a complete formatting. But only after that you can be sure that the system is really pristine section.

After this comes the second key episode. Here you should specify the logical one on which the installation will be performed. Of course, this would logically be the aforementioned section C, but how do you define it correctly in the installer?

If you look at the screenshot above, it becomes clear that this is a computer hard drive that has never been used before, since it is not even properly marked. Therefore, using the buttons "Delete - New - Format" we bring it to the desired form. Like this.

Please note that "Disk 0 Partition 4" will be the system drive C in our case, but "Disk 0 Partition 5" is logical, which is needed to store music, videos and other nonsense.

Therefore, if your hard drive has already been used before, then there may be several such additional partitions. Therefore, do not try to format them, otherwise you will lose all data.

Let's once again consolidate this common truth: it is necessary to format only the partition on which a clean installation of Windows 10 will be performed. You can, of course, additional "pochik", but this is done in the case of a complete understanding of the process, so that later it would not be offensive for the lost information ...

Now let's touch on the items "Disc 0 Section 1 -2 -3" in more detail. As you can see in the picture above, they take up from 16 to 450 MB. So, these are service hidden partitions that are automatically created by Windows 10. They are needed to store system files and backups... Naturally, we do not take them into account and, in general, do not touch upon them.

As a result, after all the above manipulations, the process of copying files should start. I will say right away that here you will need to be patient, since you will not be able to quickly skip this stage.

Upon completion, the PC should reboot and start configuring various services. First, you will be asked to select your country of residence, language and keyboard layout.

Then all available Wi-Fi networks... If you wish, you can do it right away. In general, it is very cool when the system immediately uses network adapters laptop. In the future, this will greatly facilitate the installation of drivers from the Internet.

If for some reason you want to postpone this operation for later, select the "Skip for now" option. In the next step, the installer will ask you to enter an arbitrary account name and. By the way, you don't even need to specify the latter, just leave the line empty.

Next, you will be offered settings for some of the functions that netizens have nicknamed as "tracking the person." What to leave here and what to turn off is up to you.

After that, you will need to wait a little, then the system will go to reboot again. But this is the last time. And here it is, the much-desired desktop. This means that we have succeeded!

Therefore, now we can safely say that a clean installation of Windows 10 from a USB flash drive via BIOS was successful. What is left to do now? Of course, all device drivers need to be updated, as some of them may not be present in the installer. I strongly recommend here.

Then it remains only to install required programs... Which ones and in what quantity you will think for yourself, but I will tell you about an interesting way to do it online in. So stay tuned to the blog carefully. Finally, let's watch an interesting video.

Installing Windows 10 on a flash drive is almost no different from installing Windows 8 or 7, only the design has changed. But there are nuances.

Why did I talk about Windows 10 on a flash drive?

And here's why, despite the fact that the operating room Microsoft system Windows 10 is free, for Windows 7 and 8 users, this is only until July 29, 2016.

Then you have to pay everyone who wants to upgrade to it from older machines or buys a new computer. And those who have already upgraded to Windows 10 must write down their license number.

Why?

And then you have to pay for the license. After July 29, the company's management will charge users $ 119 for the Home version of the operating system.

And so that this does not happen, I will touch upon how to write an image to a flash drive, because now even an operating system developer has begun to encourage this type of installation.

And I think you have already written down the license number, let me remind you that while the installation and receipt of the license can be done for free!

Such a flash drive, with a recorded operating system, I recommend to keep always at hand, well, just for every fireman! And the License number!

If, due to some malfunction, your computer does not work, then you could always fix this situation without any difficulty.

And so, recording Windows 10 to a flash drive.

You can record an operating system using a huge variety of programs, in particular, writing to a disk, you can do it by standard Windows recording, provided that you have a version not lower than Windows 7 installed on a flash drive, recording is done using free software Rufus.

To begin with, you should prepare the flash drive itself for writing an operating system to it.

To do this, go to the "Computer" menu, where all drives connected to the device will be displayed. Find your flash drive there and right-click on it, where select in context menu, item "Format".

This is necessary in order to destroy all existing data, without a trace from this drive.

You must specify:

A type file system: NTFS;
Make the "Volume label" field empty;
Uncheck the box next to "Quick (clear the table of contents)".

After all the parameters are set, click the "Start" button, after which you will be asked if you are sure that you want to format this disc, click OK.

Now, depending on how much your flash drive has, it will be necessary to wait so much.

Upon completion of the formatting, you will receive a notification that it is complete, click "OK", in the settings window, click the "Close" button.

Now, on a completely clean flash drive, you need to write the operating system itself with the Rufus program. To do this, download it from the official site by entering in search engine the word "rufus" and then, run.

Operating room installation Windows systems 10 to the computer.

To install the operating system on your computer, you need to insert the drive with the recorded system into the computer, and then restart it.

After that, while the computer boots up, the motherboard logo will appear, where the key for opening the BIOS menu will be indicated. Most often, this key is "Delete", there can also be options F2 or F12.

You need to press this key all the time when the logo appears and then you will be transferred to another menu called BIOS or UEFI, depending on the motherboard.

Now that you are in this menu, go to the Boot tab by pressing the arrow keys. Since everyone is different from each other motherboards, the item names in the “Boot” menu may differ.

The bottom line is what?

When the computer boots, depending on the parameters, a certain device is loaded first, usually by default, this is the hard disk.

We need to install it first so that the drive with the recorded operating system is loaded. To do this, in the Boot menu, you need to find in the case of a disk something like "Boot device priority" and select.

Then, you will see that another menu has appeared, where the devices are located under the numbers, we need number 1.

Place the cursor on the device at number one and press "Enter", you will see a window with the choice of the device to install on this number. In our case, a flash drive, then look for the name of the flash drive in this list and select it by pressing the "Enter" key.

After choosing, you will see that the devices have changed their numbers and at number 1, exactly what we need is located.

It may be that in this list The flash drive will not be there until you go in and configure another item in the "Boot" menu, you need to look for something like "Hard Disks ..." and select.

You will see the same list as in " Boot Device s ... ”, which displays the boot order of the connected hard drives to the computer.

If you do not have a flash drive in the "Boot Device Priority" menu, then exit it with the "ESC" key to the "Boot" menu and select the "Hard Drivers ..." item, where also install your flash drive under number 1, and then do the steps described above in the "Boot Device Priority" menu.

Now, press the F10 key and select "OK", thereby, you will save the changes and the computer will automatically restart.

At some point, instead of loading the operating system, you will see the inscription "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD" or "Press any key to boot from USB", which will be written, only certain time, in which you need to have time to press any key on the keyboard.

After that, the installation of Windows 10 will begin, the beginning of which will be similar to the loading of the Windows 8 operating system, but this is only a logo.

After downloading, you will see a window for selecting the language for installing the system, depending on the region that was on the image recorded on the media, the default settings may differ from what you need.

Select all the language options of your choice and click the "Next" button, and then in the next window "Install".
You will be asked to enter a license key, the entry of which can be postponed by clicking "Skip".

Then you will have available for selection two items "Update ...." and Custom Installation, select 2.
Now, you need to configure the hard drives for the installation.

If you do not need the available information on the hard disk, for a start, I recommend that you select all the partitions one by one and on each select the "Format" item below.

After that, having also selected all the items in turn, click the "Delete" button on each. After that, depending on the number of hard drives installed on your PC, you will have the same number, with the inscription "Unallocated area", by selecting which, then click on the "Create" item and specify the size of the future hard drive partition.

When you create the first partition, you will be asked if the operating system can create a small partition that will support the entire operation of the system, which you need to agree to.

Usually, if users divide the hard disk into partitions, then one is done for the operating system, and the other for data storage, so that you can reinstall the system as many times as you like without losing any data.

Therefore, if you also want to divide your hard drive into partitions, then I recommend that you set the value for one, which will be equal to 60 thousand for the operating system, and for the other, simply by clicking the "Create" button, agree with the automatic selection.

If you don't want to divide into sections, but set everything to one, then just select "Create" and agree with everything.

After all the settings for the hard drives, select the one on which you want to install Windows 10 and click the "Next" button.
Now wait for the installation to complete and the computer will reboot by itself.

It seems, by and large, everything.

Good luck Friends!
