To activate call forwarding to an international number, the recipient's number must be specified only in international format. In this case, the “International Access” service is required.

Attention! When setting forwarding under the “no response” condition (code 61), you can set the time (in seconds) after which the PV will work (timer: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30). If forwarding under the “no response” condition is activated for the first time, and the time after which the forwarding should work is not specified, then a timer is set for 5 or 15 seconds (information based on tests performed on different SIM cards). If forwarding by “no answer” is set not for the first time (without specifying the time of no answer), the timer that was used last time is automatically set.

  • When the number is busy - if one operator does not answer, the second one connects. In this case, a similar combination is used, namely *22*connected number# and a call button.
  • Forwarding Rostelecom from a landline phone after 4 calls is an option for the most persistent. For those who intensively “attack” one number, it redirects the call to a secondary one. To activate, dial a request from your phone *19*, then phone number, # call button.

    • The forwarding function when a number is busy probably does not require further explanation, because with it everything is already extremely obvious: if the number to which the call is made is busy, incoming call, it will automatically be transferred to the additional one specified in the service settings.     How to disable forwarding on Rostelecom

    If you no longer need to use this option, or decide to refuse to pay a subscription fee for its use, the Rostelecom operator, naturally, has provided appropriate options for disabling it. You can use the following USSD combinations:

    • #21# – disable the unconditional forwarding option;

    • #22# – deactivate call forwarding when the number is busy;

    • #19# – disabling the service if there is no response from the subscriber.

To solve this problem, you can use the service of redirecting incoming calls from landline to mobile phone. To do this, you need to contact the nearest office of the company or call the Rostelecom contact center by phone Hotline 8 800 100 08 00 (for citizens), 8 800 200 30 00 (for legal entities and entrepreneurs).     You can enable or disable the call forwarding service on your smartphone by setting up the service using the device itself. Most often, the function is located in the "Calls" section of the phone settings. Manufacturers provide several options, among which you can choose the most convenient one. You will need to provide a phone number for forwarding.

    Connection using USSD request

    Service with mobile device or tablet is connected by sending a USSD request. The USSD request is convenient due to its ease of use and immediate response, since the response message is sent by an auto-informer, and there is no need to wait for a connection with the company operator. In addition, these requests are free, which is important for saving subscriber money.

    To send a USSD request to the provider, we perform a series of operations sequentially: open the dialing interface, dial the * icon, enter the desired combination of numbers, put the # icon, and finish the operation by pressing the call key.

    Rostelecom offers various options USSD requests to enable redirection of phone calls to other network users.

    However, do not forget that phone numbers in USSD requests are entered in the international format: dialing begins only with 7, and not with eight. The combinations below assume that "7ХХХХХХХХХХ" means the phone number to which the phone call will be forwarded.

    To activate unconditional forwarding, dial the following combination: **21*7ХХХХХХХХХХ*#. To cancel the option, enter ##21#.

    To forward a call when the number is busy, enter **67*7ХХХХХХХХХХ*#. To deactivate the service, dial ##67#.

    To enable call redirection when there is no response from the subscriber, send the following USSD request: **61*7ХХХХХХХХХ*#. To cancel this option, enter the combination ##61#.

    If the user is outside the GSM coverage area or the subscriber’s device is turned off, redirection is performed with the command **62*7ХХХХХХХХХ*#. To deactivate the service, send a request ##62# to the provider.

    For example, a subscriber needs to make a redirect to MTS. We do this using the command **21*phone number*#. We complete the operation by pressing the call button. At the same time, do not forget that telephone dialing begins with the number 7.

    The USSD request can be entered into the phone book for convenience, in order to simplify call redirection in the future.

    To cancel all installed types of forwarding, just send the following USSD request to the operator: ##002#.

    As you can see, the USSD command, which enables or disables the required type of option, depends on the type of forwarding used. Also, do not forget that redirection does not apply to SMS messages.

    How to connect CallerID from Rostelecom

    The ability to identify the number of an incoming call is achieved using the Caller ID service, which is provided by Rostelecom to users. However, to use this service, the subscriber must have the Caller ID function on the landline telephone, otherwise connecting the option automatic detection numbers will become meaningless. Therefore, when purchasing, it is important to check with the seller for information about the presence and or absence of the Caller ID function in the telephone.

    Unconditional call forwarding

    When connecting to this service, the subscriber sets a phone number to which incoming calls are immediately redirected, regardless of the situation.

    The parameters of this option make it possible to redirect calls to a number specified by the subscriber in following cases: if the subscriber’s phone is busy during a call, and also if the user does not answer the main phone.
