Open Photoshop and get started
Open both photos in Photoshop (Ctrl + O):
We turn to the photo with Vladimir Vladimirovich and select the face in any convenient way.
For example, the Lasso Tool. Hotkey tool call - L.
We select the face of Putin - we capture all the facial features, cut out the forehead partially:
Press Ctrl + C on the keyboard to copy the face, go to the recipient - Trump and press Ctrl + V in order to paste the face into the document.
Press Ctrl + T on the keyboard to call Free Transform.
Reducing the face to fit the size of Trump's face:
To make the face even better, lower the opacity of the layer and try to match the eyes, lips and eyebrows:
Once you have successfully positioned the face, set the opacity back to 100%.
Go to Selection - Modification - Shrink (Select - Modify - Contract):
In the drop-down window, set the radius of 5-8 pixels:
Go to the Trump layer and double-click on the lock to unlock the layer:
Press the Delete key on the keyboard. After that, a "hole" will appear on the Trump layer:
Press Ctrl + D on the keyboard to deselect. Hold down the Shift key and select both layers on the layers palette:
Go to Editing - Auto Blend Layers (Edit - Auto - Blend Layers):

All the shortcomings of automatic insertion can be corrected, for example, with the Mixer brush tool.
Create a new layer:
In the top toolbar of the Mixer Brush tool, set something like this:
On a new layer, use the Mixer brush over the joint areas of the photo. We pay special attention to the left side of the face:
Create another new layer, fill it (Shift + F5) with 50% gray:
Go to the menu Filter-Noise-Add Noise (Filter-Noise-Add Noise):
Add 1-3%:
Change the blending mode of the layer to Overlay (Overlay):
Right-click (right-click) on the layer in the layers palette and select "Create Clipping Mask". Thus, the layer with noise will only affect the layer on which we painted the Mix with a brush.

Step by step GIMP tutorial - how to replace a face in a photo.
Step 1. Launch the gimp editor and open the first photo, where we will add face.
Step 2. Through the menu (File - Open as Layer ..) open the second image. After that, in the layer stack, we will have the following picture:
As you can see, both layers are highlighted in bold. This indicates that these layers do not have transparency information. Let's add an alpha channel (transparency) to the top layer. To do this, right-click on the layer and select "Add Alpha Channel" from the drop-down menu
But now the name of the layer has changed from bold writing to a regular font, this indicates that the layer has transparency. Remember this.
Step 3. Now on the toolbar, select
And we trace along the contour of the face. Like that:
Remove selection via (Selection - Deselect / Shift + Ctrl + A)
After that, let's cut out the borders of the layer, bringing them closer to the outlines of the face. This will make it easier for ourselves to work on the next step. To change the border of the layer, go to (Layer - Crop Layer). It will turn out like this:
Now you can notice that the yellow-black line has moved closer to the contours of the face. By doing this, we cropped out the current layer.
Step 4. Reduce the opacity of the top layer with the face to 50% by moving the slider to the left or by entering a digital value in the opacity field.
Step 5. Select "Rotation" on the toolbar.
Leave the default settings. Now click with the mouse on the layer, thereby activating the tool.
Rotate the layer until the level of the eye line coincides with the eye line of the bottom photo.
Press the "Rotate" button
Step 6. Select the Scale tool. Leave the default settings. We also click on the work area by activating the tool. Activation will be indicated by small squares on the sides of the layer.
Now you need to click on the next chain icon to activate the proportional layer resizing mode.
While the Scale tool is active, we can move the layer with the face to the face of the photo of the lower layer. To do this, move the mouse cursor to the central circle, and the movement icon should appear next to the mouse cursor.
Click "Change".
Step 7. Select the Move tool (default settings) and move the layer with the inserted face until the eyes of the upper and lower layers match.
If you have not guessed with the proportions of the face, then you can mark your actions through (Edit - Mark action / Ctrl + z) and try again to repeat steps 5,6,7. If you are nevertheless close to the proportions of the face of the lower photo, but want to slightly correct the position of the upper layer, then you will also use the editing tools - "Rotation", "Scale" and "Move".
Step 8. Return the top layer's opacity to 100%.
Step 9. Now select the Eraser tool with the following parameters:
and gently erase the edges at the top layer, it should look something like this:
Step 10. As we can see, the complexion of the inserted fragment is slightly different from the original complexion on the movie poster. How can we solve this problem? Very simple! Go to (Color - Color Balance) and adjust the color.
Step 11.Ok, now let's use the Burn / Burn tools in Burn mode to make some parts of the face a little lighter.
Step 12. Now switch the tool to Burn mode and gently darken the areas around the eyes.
Step 13. Create a new transparent layer on top of the existing layers. Next, select "Free Selection" and draw on the left side of the face, such a selection:
Click OK. Paint over the selection with the selected color.
Remove selection via (Selection-Unselect)
Step 14. Soften the edges of the selection through (Filters-Blur-Gaussian Blur) and leave the value at 5px. Click OK.
Step 15. Change the layer's blending mode to Multiply and set the layer's opacity to 80%.
