There are two ways to install plugins: automatically and manually. Automatic installation does not cause any difficulties: just open the downloaded archive with the plugin in the Total Commander panel and the manager itself will offer to install the detected module. Connecting additional plugins manually is also not difficult. To install the plugin, unpack the contents of the archive into a separate folder. Quick Tabs and Files in Total Commander

Open the folder in Total Commander that you want to save and have access to quick access, and press the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + D" or click on the star in the upper right corner of the panel. *.wave *.mp3 *.avi Finds all audio and video files with the specified extensions.

*p.ini Names that must contain p before the dot will be found.

*ici*.doc All files containing ici in their names with the file extension doc will be found.

Z*.* | *.doc *.txt Finds files that will start with Z and do not end with .doc or .txt.

Search location You can specify the directory or drive on which you want to search. If you need to create a search template that, when loaded in the future, will not overwrite the existing contents of the "Search Location" field, then specify ">" in the character field before saving the template as a search expression.

Search also in archives

Allows you to search in files with extensions ARJ, GZ, ZIP, LZH, RAR, 7Z, TAR, CAB and ACE. It is even possible to search for text in the archive (including some formats that are supported by archiver plugins). The files are unpacked into RAM, they are searched, after which the unpacked files are deleted.

On the tab you can set additional search parameters. For example, if you don't know the file name, you can try searching for the file by the date it was saved.
On the tab, search by the following parameters:
by date interval within which the file was changed;

by file size;

This tab allows you to search for information plugins or special file attributes. To make searching easier, you can create rules.

On this tab, you can create and save templates for searches that are performed frequently. For example, you can create a template to search for text files.
