There are various ways to make money online , for both experienced users and beginners. One of the most interesting and simplest is reselling (some people mistakenly call reselling.

In my blog footer it was written reselling. About how a beginner can make money on the Internet by reselling and what it is this type earnings, read on.

How to make money online for a beginner? Reselling – what is it?

Reselling involves resale of a finished product. A person who enters into this business (he is called a reseller, sometimes, just like with reselling, they mistakenly call him a reseller) acquires the rights to the product and becomes its full owner.

That is, subsequent resale will give the participant in this business a 100% profit. And this is strikingly different from the 30-40% percent that an information businessman receives from the sale of an information product in an affiliate program.

This type of income is becoming more popular every day. global network Runet. The good news for those who are just deciding to become a reseller is that here, this niche is not yet very occupied, although the picture is changing every day.

For Internet entrepreneurs in the West, reselling has long been a working business - a scheme that has been mastered by thousands of sellers.

Reselling. Where to start?

There are several options for starting in this business.

  1. The author of the product gets in touch with the future reseller. He states that he intends to sell the product he made, as well as the resale rights to it. This option is most convenient for beginners. After all, all he needs to do is pay for the product and open sales.
  2. The second option is suitable for more experienced Internet entrepreneurs, and it involves searching for a product on your own. When, in the opinion of the reseller, a good product has been found, the entrepreneur independently contacts the author and invites him to conclude a deal to sell the rights to this product.

Reselling. The nuances of concluding a deal

Making money on the Internet for beginners by reselling has a whole range of pitfalls. And, if you are like that, read the text below carefully. Having studied it, you will not be deceived and will be able to successfully start in the resell business.

  1. Do not rush to blindly purchase the product and the rights to resell it! You need to decide whether they really offer you valuable information and whether you can implement it. For a beginner, reselling often fails to make money due to a low-quality product, which leads to the impossibility of selling it.
  2. When concluding a deal, check all the details. For example, when it is affected resale of information products(let's say e-book), after the deal is concluded, you must be granted copyright rights. It may be necessary to conclude a deal involving legal entities, since there is a huge percentage that the author of the product will continue to sell it, even after concluding a deal with a reseller.
  3. After concluding a deal, the author is obliged to provide not only the product itself, but also the tools for its sale, if any. It often happens that the author sells only a product to a newcomer to reselling, and uses the tools for his own personal purposes. Don't be fooled by this.

As a conclusion of this block - by concluding a deal with the author, you receive the rights not only to resell the product, but also receive full authorship and a package of tools for promoting the product.

It is impossible to name at least one type of business that does not have disadvantages. Below are the positive and negative aspects of reselling.

Making money on the Internet for beginners. Pros of reselling

  • There is no need to create a product. You purchase a ready-made, high-quality product with tools for its promotion - this is extremely convenient, especially for beginners. In addition to the fact that the product is already ready, a website selling it has also been created, and the reseller is only required to make an effort to advertise it;
  • Reselling motivates you to sell! After all, money was spent, and sometimes quite a lot, to purchase the rights to the product;
  • This business, if the sales line develops successfully, allows you to multiply the investment for the product many times over. And when it comes to reselling information products , then there are no restrictions at all on making a profit;
  • It is possible to create an affiliate program based on the purchased product. Read more about how to do this and what is meant by this below.

Earning money on the Internet for beginners. Cons of Reselling

  • Every day the competition in this niche is getting stronger. In addition, a lot of information is distributed online for free, so at first you will need to be patient and diligent;
  • It should be noted that reselling requires investments, and sometimes not small ones, which eliminates many entrepreneurs;
  • This business is risky, in principle, like any other. After all, it cannot be guaranteed that there will be buyers who want to purchase the product.

Even experienced information businessmen cannot guarantee that this information product will be successfully sold. Testing helps here.

We hope that the disadvantages will not scare you away, because any profitable business is accompanied by risks and investments.

Reselling or affiliate program?

Surely, you have heard about affiliate programs that offer you to sell a product yourself, without being the author and not having full rights to sell it.

In other words, these are free information products with resale rights; of course, they are free only for the participant in the affiliate program and for the seller of the product.

You can view free information products at “Internet Marketers Club”.

By becoming a participant in such a program, you receive 15–30% from each independent sale of a product, and the remaining percentage goes to the rightful owner. On the one hand, this is convenient, because there is no need to spend money on purchasing a particular product.

On the other hand, if you have acquired the rights to an information product, you can benefit 100% from its sale, as well as create your own affiliate program that will generate profit.

Having carefully weighed everything, the conclusion suggests itself that resellers are superior to affiliate programs and you should choose such a business if you have prospects for good profits.

For indecisive entrepreneurs, we can recommend starting with making money on affiliate programs“Info products with resale rights for free.”

Types of reselling

Information products with resale rights This is not the only type of reseller. This business can be roughly divided into three types:

  • Reselling information products

Everything is simple here. A person finds a product on the global Internet, contacts its author and buys the rights to sell it. This was written about above.

  • Reselling hosting

This is an innovative branch in the development of reselling! Its essence lies in the fact that the future hosting reseller contacts the administration of the company that provides hosting services and buys from them part of the disk space on their server.

Now he is the full owner of this space and can independently become a hoster.

  • Reselling in offline business

Resellers of apple or any other large company can serve as the best example demonstrating resell in offline business.

There are slightly different rules here than on the Internet. Apple official reseller , like other large and popular companies, it does not have full rights to the product, but receives a number of advantages in its implementation.

This is already a business for advanced entrepreneurs, and since the purpose of this article is to cover the topic of making money on the Internet for beginners, therefore we will not focus on offline reselling in this article.

Do you want to know what mistakes beginners make?

99% of beginners make these mistakes and fail in business and making money on the Internet! Make sure you don't repeat these mistakes - “3 + 1 ROOKIE MISTAKES THAT KILL RESULTS”.

Today, selling clothes via the Internet is an important segment of the modern fashion market. Some practice clothing resale as a business, for others it is a way to unload their own closet or rather a hobby. Some people make very good money from limited edition luxury clothing. How to engage in resale and build a full-fledged business - this will be discussed in this article.

Today at social networks, in many groups there are more and more advertisements not just for the sale, but for the resale of brands of youth items. You can often read that the overall condition of the item is 8 out of 10, which indicates that it has been worn and is not new.

Although this does not in any way reduce the four-zero price set by sellers, although a lower, affordable price is determined by the flight store. But it’s simply impossible to buy them in a store. Manufacturers of clothing and shoes have long defined this trend for themselves - if every 10th person already has this or that item, it is no longer considered a luxury item, the property of the elite.

Accordingly, sales are limited and a shortage is artificially created. Along with such universal Internet resources as Avito, which practice the resale of personal belongings and shoes, on the Internet there are many other, small platforms focused on fashion market goods.

But translated from the original language, the word resale means direct resale - today there are many unique and interesting platforms on the fashion market, for example Vogue, Glamour, GQ and other mouthpieces of the Internet, which bring the very idea of secondary shopping to the masses. And therefore we can safely say that the project itself, the question of how to make money from resale of clothes, is working.

How to make money on resale?

As practice shows, direct resale or, as it is called in the new way, resale of the goods of luxury world brands is a very interesting way to make money on at the moment. In Western countries and even in Japan, the demand for these projects is growing by leaps and bounds. All fashionistas have already understood that manufacturers around the world produce a lot of clothes, and it is illogical to overpay only for the brand.

In Russia, despite the rich, almost 20-year history of second-hand and vintage stores, the project focused on the resale of luxury clothing is not very developed. In the West, this market has more than 30 years of history.

For example, the race for a limited edition of sneakers started, according to collector M. Bostic, in the 1995s, when the Air Jordan XI was introduced to the market. But the phenomenon itself became widespread in 2000. It is also worth noting that 12 years ago, sneakers from Nike x Staple SB Dunk Low Pigeon were in considerable demand on the shelves of New York stores. And now the very first version of the sneakers can be purchased on eBay, but for considerable sums - 2-3 thousand US dollars. Also in America there is a real exchange for sneakers StockX - there you can track the entire dynamics of the price of rare models, and accordingly purchase or resell.

On the territory of Russia, this market differs significantly from the market in the West. As Brandshop founder I. Grebenshchikov notes in his speech, 5-6 years ago there were few true admirers of limited collections. Everyone calmly arrived at the opening of the outlet and could buy the desired item and then calmly go on business. For example, just a couple of years ago there were only no more than 100 buyers for a model of sneakers from K. West, but today this figure has increased to 20,000 orders placed on Yeezy.

How much income can you expect from resale?

According to experienced sellers, you can earn a lot from resale of clothes, namely about 40-50 thousand rubles per month just from 2-3 pairs of sneakers. But in order to get the treasured item for subsequent resale, everyone should stand in line for a day when the release opens.

Which brands should you choose for resale?

Among young people, brandomania is no longer just a term, it is a living subculture. All supporters of the right brands are not necessarily wealthy young people. They are called highbists and for them it is important that a well-known logo be in a prominent place.

By choosing this or that hype item, you get a chance to make money on the subsequent resale of the trend. How to make money on this is to simply choose sneakers from one of the brands such as Nike and Adidas, Asics or New Balance, or maybe Supreme or Yeezy, Jordan. Regarding youth clothing, brands such as Supreme and Ben Sherman, Burberry or H&M are especially popular, as are Balmain, Off White, Fila or Lacoste, as well as Marc O’Polo and Fred Perry, and others.

Resale, how to start earning money

Before you start looking for things to purchase and then resell, you should understand for yourself all the intricacies of this market. The very process of buying and reselling clothes, like shoes, is somewhat reminiscent of the stock market - there are lots that cost pennies at the beginning, but gradually accumulate their value.

For a successful start in the resale of branded lots, it is important to purchase a product that is sold for pennies, but in the future they have a predicted long-term value. Alternatively, you can purchase an item on the day of its release at retail prices, where they are more affordable.

As an option, in order not to stand in line for hours for an item or product, you can place an order on Frenzy, which belongs to Shopify. He will notify you about the release date of the latest models of sneakers from a particular brand. Already from this platform you can place them as an order for resale and make a profit from this.

Resale, how to start and find out how much a particular shoe model costs? The StockX website will help you in this matter - it presents the average cost of a particular lot over the past year. It also provides a graph of market index growth and you can choose best time for resale.

But to automate the process of selling a branded product or purchasing it, you can use special program AIO Bot. Just install this program on your PC and select from the list those retail outlets where you want to buy. Choose a model, size and color - the bot itself will select a selection of sites for you.

Reisel, sites for resale of branded clothing: top 8

When you have branded items for resale, it is important to find the best channels for reselling them and making a profit. You can start from a consignment store - StockX and resell shoes there - the buyer can be sure that he will not be deceived by a fake.

If you want to resell shoes or clothing using traditional methods, you can join specialized groups on VKontakte or Facebook, or register on eBay. The main thing here is to create a detailed and truthful description of the product, making the lot as attractive as possible for the client.

You can double-check the price of your lot on StockX and find out how much your item is worth on the market today. It is also important to double-check volatility, the trend of sneakers and set a price that suits both sides of the transaction.

If we talk about your profit level, it’s worth investing your income in a new pair or two of shoes. Do your research, find that pair that you can buy before you even have the money for them. If everything is done correctly, you can increase your work gradually.

  • The most famous and powerful project in the capital is an online store Second Friend Store, has been successfully reselling items from world designers for 7 years. The cost in this case of a particular lot consists of such factors as quality and relevance, degree of wear, plus a commission - 20-50% of the sale price. This site presents such global brands as Helmut Lang, Balenciaga, Guidi, Yohji Yamamoto, Off White and many other interesting things.
  • In St. Petersburg, he successfully occupied this niche more than 2 years ago. Pif Paf Supershop– it presents only conceptually branded items.
  • No less popular in Russia is the platform where on-sale items are presented - Avito.
  • Universal, international level trading platform Ebay– it is quite possible to put up both new and used items for auction.
  • But the most expanded platform is the public Themarket, a kind of younger brother of the US Grailed, serving about 160,000 users. No less popular themarket lots are Supreme and Yeezy - it is because of them, according to many users, that the secondary market exists. Themarket's most popular items are Supreme and Yeezy.
  • One of the popularizers of sneaker resale in the Russian Federation is the group “ Sneakerhead» in VK.
No less popular is the public sale and purchase of branded clothing. Beast. The scheme is simple: to sell an item, users need to be offered a news ad with a photo and price.
  • Thrift store for branded items on Instagram - komissionka_brand_shop.
  • vestiairecollective.com- International Resale Store. Offices are located in New York, London, Paris, Milan, Hong Kong, Berlin. The range includes brands such as Cartier, Rolex, Hermes, Supreme, Chanel, Balenciaga, Balmain, Burberry, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Valentino, Vetements and many others.
  • Resale Store Alamode- a consignment store for luxury brand items.

25 years after the fall of the Iron Curtain, queues began to form outside Moscow shops again. But in times of new shortages - limited quantities of everything - they were reincarnated as a club for the interests of lovers of rare collaborations and limited-edition items from recognizable brands. Subcultures have sunk into oblivion, but clothing continues to be a social marker. Only instead of Landlubber like Robert Plant, young people are ready to spend the night at the doors of concept stores for a week for sneakers like Kanye West. But for some, standing in these queues is not a hobby, but a profitable business: purchased exclusives and even a place in the queue can be sold. The Village found out how it works and how much it brings to resellers.

New queues

The Western secondary fashion market was formed about 30 years ago, when the first collectors resold clothes and shoes from exclusive collections. The race for limited-edition sneakers, according to collector Mark Bostic, began already in 1995, when the Air Jordan XI entered the market. The phenomenon became widespread in the 2000s. For example, 12 years ago, the Nike x Staple SB Dunk Low Pigeon sneakers that appeared on New York shelves caused a frenzied stir (they were re-released this year). Now the first version of the model can be bought on eBay for 2-3 thousand dollars. In the USA there is even a real sneaker exchange StockX, where you can track the dynamics of the cost of rare releases and, of course, buy or sell them.

The Russian market is significantly behind the Western market. “Five to seven years ago there were very few connoisseurs of limited releases,” explains Brandshop founder Ilya Grebenshchikov. - Everyone calmly arrived at the opening of the store, purchased the desired product and went home. Just two years ago, no more than 50-100 people were behind Kanye West sneakers. And already this year we have received more than 20 thousand applications for Yeezy.”

One of the popularizers of sneaker collecting in Russia is the Sneakerhead public on VKontakte, which has grown into the main domestic community about sneakers, which currently has 300 thousand members. Its founder and ideologist Roman Raimov connects the hysteria around things from popular brands with street roots and a solid price tag to the craze for rap (most performers in the genre wear limited editions) and the realization that you can make good money on resale. Being fashionable and understanding fashion, according to Raimov, is a trend. “Before there was emo, ska, and now this,” he explains.

Shop on VKontakte

This year, Raimov opened a public website for the purchase and sale of fashion releases and sneakers Beast. The scheme is simple: to sell an item, users need to be offered a news ad with a photo and price. Currently the public has 32 thousand users. At the same time, its creator is not involved in resale, “only once he bought sneakers at a discount, and then pushed for a thousand more.” Sneakerhead publics are Raimov’s main job; from them he earns 50–80 thousand a month - “enough to live and buy new things.”

The main resale platform in Russia is public themarket, the younger brother of the American one, has been uninterruptedly serving 160 thousand fashionistas since the end of April last year. The community was invented literally on the knee. “I’m not exactly a sneakerhead, but I’ve been into streetwear for a long time,” says themarket founder Mikhail Postnikov. “Since 2006, I’ve been wearing skate shoes, and by the 2010s I switched to underground brands like Palace, Ambivalent, Polar Skate Co.” In 2013, he was the first to popularize Palace, writing an article about them for the Skateboarding Sucks website (a project by Vitaly Kotov, who now works at adidas Originals. - Ed.), at the same time he created the group Palace Skateboards. “Actually, there I had my first specialized albums for buying and selling clothes. And last year, my friends and I came up with first a public page, and then the market website,” says Postnikov.

Up to 20 advertisements per day appear in the public. Although every post is pre-moderated, fakes still sometimes slip through. “But we have a very loyal community that immediately tells us if something is in doubt. If it turns out to be a finger, the post is deleted and the user is banned,” explains Postnikov. Themarket's most popular items are Supreme and Yeezy. According to the founder of the community, it is largely thanks to them that the secondary market exists.

Even though the reselling culture is thriving, somehow rare sneaker releases still end up in the hands of the same people.

Generous Chinese and total income

Almost every Russian reseller has a record of dealing with a generous Chinese citizen. “When I worked at the Street Beat store, a Chinese friend ordered 40 pairs of Jordans from me, and for some crazy cash,” recalls Vitaly. “I told my boys that they could get a lot of money, and asked them to put aside the pairs and let them skip the line. As a result, we got all the pairs and sold them for 23 thousand at the original cost of 8,500 rubles. Everyone was in awe in the evening, thanks to the Jordan company for this movement!”

For our other interlocutor, Alexey, the passion for resale began with the Chinese deal. He decided to sell a gift from friends - red Nike Air Yeezys, which he had been collecting dust without use. The Chinese bought them on eBay for 150 thousand rubles. “I can live comfortably for three months with this money,” the reseller shares. “I would have been struggling for them in the office for four months.”

Alexey is 24 years old, he buys rare Balenciaga and Yeezy models for resale through friends, then he and his friends sign up in line with a bet that at least one of the whole group will get a pair, and then they split the jackpot “and Raf Simons’ clothes.” “In principle, you don’t need any special intelligence, the main thing is that there are connections everywhere,” he shares. - I meet people at parties, where I definitely go, even if it’s through force. Of course, this year I have become a real sneakerhead. I myself have adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Pirate Black, Balenciaga Triple S. I sell everything on eBay and themarket.” This is not Alexey’s main job, but reselling brings him an additional 40–50 thousand rubles a month from the sale of two or three pairs of sneakers.

Camping near the shops

To get an item for resale, market participants sometimes have to stand in line on the day of release. “In the queue for sneakers you can meet both Dagestanis and right-wing boys, since everyone has already learned about resales, everyone wants easy money,” says Vitaly. But camping in Russia is “a difficult story” for sophisticated resellers. “I spent this summer in Los Angeles, I just came to relax and at the same time camped there a couple of times, for example for M+RC Noir. It was wonderful: sitting under an umbrella, drinking cocktails, talking to people. It’s a pleasure,” recalls 20-year-old Leonid Burkhavin.

He has been reselling for about two years. I started out just selling a place in line for sneakers, but realizing that you can earn significantly more from resales themselves, I changed my profile. “I started with reselling sneakers and only a year and a half later I started making clothes, mainly Yeezy and Supreme,” explains Burhavni. - On the one hand, this is a very exciting hobby, and this excitement is growing along with growing competition. On the other hand, it’s a source of income.” According to him, standing in line is mainly required by the hunt for rare sneakers; he buys things for resale online. Burkhavin’s most profitable deal was also items from the Louis Vuitton collaboration with Supreme, which his friend, a VIP client of the boutique, helped him get and was the first to gain access to the clothes. The price tag at which the artifacts were purchased from Burkhavin was four times the starting price.

Leonid Burkhavin

I’m not a sneakerhead, I’m not fanatical about all this, but sometimes I can keep interesting models for myself, I have a couple of Yeezy items. In general, I'm more for the classics.

But among campers there are also those for whom queuing is more an element of socialization and a kind of leisure time than earning money. Burkhavin's friend, for example, even met his love in her. “Sometimes you don’t even give a damn about the thing, you just want to hang out near the store, drink beer with the boys, get to know someone,” explains Vitalya Negro. - And if you also buy a rag, and then resell it in order to buy a new rag, that’s totally cool. This is such a sporting interest.”

Vitalya Negro

reseller

I can't stand Yeezys. This is a complete mess, everyone wears them, and often in the ones they bought from AliExpress. When I see this, the desire to buy them immediately disappears. I myself dress everywhere, from H&M to Alexander Wang. It all depends on money, if I have cash, I hang out on Farfetch and themarket, if not, Asos saves me. Basically I only buy sneakers for myself. The most valuable ones in my collection are Nike Air Yeezy 2. There are also a bunch of different Jordans. My favorite is the seventh Jordan Championship Pack, donated by a Chinese man, which really stuck with me, even though I only wore it once and they look terrible on my feet.

Stores are trying their best to fight unscrupulous resellers. To break up a friendly get-together with beer at the doors of the concept store, KM20 introduced registration by passport number, phone number and active open account on social networks. “Several times at the start of Yeezy sales, having experienced tents at our doors, lists in queues, groups of aggressive guys counting the proceeds right under the roof of the store, we, like other concept stores, switched to a transparent and secure online drawing system,” explains PR Director of KM20 Anna Binevskaya. According to her, such a system significantly reduces the chances of selling several pairs to one person: it is much more difficult to deceive such a system, and in the end, only randomly selected winners come to the store on the day of release - roughly 10% of those who stood in line before.

“[During the days of releases with queues] our team joked a lot about the black marketeers, who have not gone away since Soviet times,” shares Binevskaya. - Only if back then people sold jeans worth four salaries in order to survive, now young people who did not live in times of shortages, for some reason also turned out to be ready to sleep on the street for a week under the doors of the store, sell places in line, threaten neighbors on the list, gather into groups and so on for the sake of easy money on sneakers. And this despite the fact that now there are a lot of ways to earn money for generation Z. How about getting a job?”

Epigraph: To make good money from reselling, you will need a lot of initial investment, a lot of sleepless nights and tears about losing money. Therefore, it’s better to create a blog for yourself and in 8-9 months it will be able to bring you 30-50 thousand a month net. .

Hi all. In today’s article I will tell you about what reselling is and how you can earn real money from it.

Today, such a way of earning money as reselling has become especially popular in RuNet. This is exactly what I would like to talk about in this article and tell the whole truth about how you can make money from it.

What is reselling

Before we go into the details of this type of earnings and consider its nuances, let's first define reselling. So what is reselling? This word came to us from English language, which can literally be translated as resale.

What do people usually sell? That's right, any goods, so the essence of reselling is the resale of any goods. But is it really possible to take any product and start offering it to other people?

In fact, this cannot be done, since any product has its own legal copyright holder, and if you sell a product without having the rights to it, then this will be a direct violation of copyright.

You've probably heard about the latest copyright laws, so if you don't want any trouble, it's better to give up the idea of distributing a product without rights and buy them.

The fact that reselling has become a popular way to make money online is thanks to information businessmen. They began offering ordinary users to make money by reselling their information products (receiving 100% of the profit from the cost of the product in their pocket), thanks to which conversations about reselling began to take place in every corner of the RuNet.

Of course, you can make money from reselling by selling almost any product, but later I will continue to talk about reselling in the information business, since now many people associate this method of earning money with it.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Reselling

As with any other business, reselling has its pros and cons, which I would like to consider further.

Reselling advantages:

To engage in information business, you need to spend a lot of effort and time to create an information product. In addition, for its subsequent sale you will need a selling website.

When buying resale rights, you can forget about all this, since usually all authors offering resale rights, in addition to the information product, give their clients all the necessary materials so that they can start their own online business in the shortest possible time. Therefore, the first advantage of reselling is saving your effort and time.

To write a high-quality information product, you need to be an expert in the topic to which it will be devoted. As you already understand, a reseller does not need to have any professional knowledge at all; in addition, he may not even understand the topic to which the product is dedicated.

Thus, he gets even more opportunities to earn money due to the large number of training courses and books on various topics that he does not necessarily need to understand.

It is clear that in order to have resale rights, you need to pay money, but for each sale you will be able to receive 100% profit, which in turn will allow you to recoup all costs in the shortest possible time. In addition, you yourself have the right to decide what price to set for the product.

And the last advantage, in my opinion, is the opportunity to gain experience in the information business. If you have long wanted to get into the information business, then reselling is a great way to try your hand at this area. This will allow you to gain irreplaceable experience, which can be very useful to you in the future if you decide to create your own training product.

Disadvantages of Reselling:

The first and most main drawback Reselling is an investment. Of course, parting with money is always very difficult, but to build any business you need investments, even minimal ones.

Another and, perhaps, the main disadvantage of reselling is that there is a lot of competition. Imagine this situation: you bought resale rights to a product, but in addition to you, 10 more people bought these rights.

Naturally, selling will become much more difficult. But what if we also take into account the creator of this product, as well as his partners involved in promoting this product? In this case, competition will increase many times over.

As with any other business, reselling also has a drawback, such as the risk of not earning anything. But in this case, I believe that all risks can be avoided by conducting a thorough analysis and choosing those products that are in great demand. In addition, you should always remember the expression: he who does not take risks, does not drink champagne.

Who is suitable for reselling?

It is clear that selling resale rights is beneficial for every businessman, because this is a kind of marketing ploy that allows you to attract the attention of more people and make even more sales. But which one ordinary users Is this type of online business suitable as reselling? This is exactly what we will try to figure out now.

In my opinion, reselling training courses should be done by those who are generally attracted to the information business as an opportunity to make money. As I said above, reselling is a good opportunity to gain experience for opening your own information business in the future.

First of all, this applies to beginners, since a successful information businessman is unlikely to buy the rights to any product for its further resale; he would rather buy someone else’s product in order to distribute it for free to collect a subscriber base.

Reselling is also well suited for people who were previously involved in promoting information products, earning money affiliate programs. As a rule, such people already have experience in promoting this kind of goods, which means that it will be much easier for them to make money from reselling.

In addition, this will save you from having to work for a percentage of the sale, and you can have 100% profit from each sale.

If you have your own subscription base, then this is a definite plus in your favor, since it will be much easier for you to engage in reselling. It will be enough for you to send the newsletter once to receive large number sales, recouping your costs many times over.

Therefore, if you have a subscription base, then you undoubtedly need to try your hand at reselling, although the only caveat here is that you will have to recommend only those products that correspond to the theme of your subscription base, since otherwise you are unlikely to be able to achieve high returns.

How to buy resale rights for a product

As I said before, resale rights are necessary to allow you to resell an information product without violating the owner's copyright, so it would be wrong if I skipped over such an important issue as acquiring resale rights.

Some information businesses offer resale rights to their product to anyone who buys it. Typically, such information is indicated on the product’s selling website. In this case, everything is quite simple: you bought a product and received resale rights.

It's best to look for in-demand, high-quality products that are sold without resale rights. In this case, you can directly contact the author and agree with him to acquire the rights to resell his information product.

Remember that success in reselling depends largely on what you sell. Approach the choice of product very responsibly, since a high-quality and in-demand product will help you not only avoid risks, but also achieve success.

That's all for me, all the best to you. Finally, I advise you to watch a video about Reselling. Everything is explained in great detail:

A couple of months ago, Berlin-based lifestyle brand lover Sam Tatchev sold most of his collection, and a few months before that, Munich-based Tith K sold out of all the clothes and opened his own children's store, WHAT THE PETIT.

And now two guys from Hamburg have opened their own pop-up corner in a local skate shop. However, unlike Sam and Titus, Yannick Lorz and Alex Kubchak did not pursue the goal of selling all their stuff - they created a place where all lovers of street style could gather, where they could communicate, hang out and, if it goes well, then sell something.
The guys even created a special T-shirt to celebrate the sale.

These two make their money from resales, so we decided to ask them for some advice for those who also decide to take the reseller path.

Introduce yourself - what are you doing now? How old are you? Where are you from?

Yannick: I'm 19 years old and live in Hamburg, Germany. I just finished school and will start studying at university in October.
Alex: My name is Alex, I'm 18 years old, I'm from a small town south of Hamburg. I am currently in sales full time.

What do you think about the fashion for streetwear and casual style these days?

Yannick: I think it's crazy! On the one hand, it’s cool that so many people are interested in this trend of fashion, but, on the other hand, sometimes they cross the boundaries. Many people pay stupid amounts of money just to be recognized in lines.
Alex: I wouldn't say there is "too much" hype around this topic right now, as anyone can still buy what they want. However, it is sometimes scary how far some people are willing to go just to get their hands on limited-edition items.

How is street style developing in Germany now?

Yannick: It's growing and expanding every day, but it's still very small. Berlin is definitely the capital for this, but there are also Facebook groups like VBG and Basement that connect people.
Alex: Cool! As Yannick said, he is growing every day. I am the moderator of the largest German Facebook group called Verband Botanischer Gärten and we receive 50-80 new member requests per day. We were actually very surprised how many people came to our corner.

What are your tips for people who want to start resellers?

Yannick: Firstly, you must be interested in street life and must be calm about new releases (bad servers, bots). I also think you need to relax if your clothes don't sell on the first day.
Alex: First, understand the brands. Not everything with "Supreme" or "palace" written on it will sell for double the retail price. Keeping track of prices and price trends is a huge factor in running a reseller business. Some items that were in the store for 3 days now cost more than 1,500 euros.

Are you planning to build a career in resell?

Yannick: No, I see myself more in the production itself.
Alex: Yes. What I love about it is the endless number of possibilities. Let's see how everything turns out.

How much do you guys make per month from resale?

Yannick: It's hard to say. I started our pop-up as a pilot project near a school a couple of years ago because I was tired of working part-time. Resales have been and remain more profitable, and provide the opportunity to meet new people who are on the same wavelength as us.
Alex: Depends a lot on what the actual releases are. I earn more money than my friends and plan to work more in the future to increase my income.

What items are easiest to resell?

Yannick: Easy question: things with logos, Yeezy and Jordan.
Alex: Things with the Supreme logo, t-shirts with photos, things with the Palace triangle, collabs (in most cases) and Yeezy, of course.

What do you think about Supreme x LV? Is it worth buying a reseller considering that the prices are so high?

Yannick: Definitely! The demand is huge and this is the most hyped collab of the year! The bold logos are the most valuable in terms of resale, but the rest is also very good.
Alex: Depends on what you're actually buying. Logo hoodies and T-shirts, as well as small leather items, are simply made for resale.
