Traveling with children is troublesome and expensive.

For five years, my wife and two children and I have visited almost two dozen Russian cities. When traveling across Russia, we try to choose the middle ground: we don't live in hostels and we don't stay in luxury hotels. On average, for four people with breakfast we pay 3000-3500 R per day.

Sergey Tinyakov

traveling with children

I marked the main cities, towns and entertainment for children on the map:

Anapa

Anapa is one of the main children's resorts in the country. There are 200 children's sanatoriums, camps and rest houses here. Every year 350 thousand children rest in them, so parks, beaches and transport are focused primarily on young travelers. Moving around the city is comfortable: almost everywhere there are convenient sidewalks, and playgrounds are arranged in squares and parks. Most of the entertainment is on the beaches and Pionersky Prospekt - the longest street in the city, which is located along the coast.

The only open water dolphinarium in Russia operates 18 kilometers from Anapa in the village of Bolshoi Utrish. Dolphins live in the Black Sea lagoon, while spectators watch performances from the tribune on the shore. Tickets are sold on the website. Entrance for an adult and a child from 7 years old costs 1000 RUR, for children from 3 to 7 years old - 400 RUR.

If you want to see dolphins and even swim with them for free, go to the beach in the village of Blagoveshchenskaya. It is located 23 kilometers from Anapa airport and 40 kilometers from the city. There, dolphins swim right next to the rest. They may not be visible from the water, but they are clearly visible from the shore.

In the village of Sukko, 20 kilometers from Anapa, you can attend knightly performances at the Lion's Head Theater, shoot a bow or crossbow, visit a smithy and a pottery workshop, ride horses. A ticket to the evening performance costs 500 RUR for adults and 400 RUR for children over 6 years old. Children under 6 years old accompanied by an adult admit free of charge. The schedule is on the theater's website.

How to get there. From Moscow to Anapa can be reached in a day by train. A ticket in a compartment costs from 2500 RUR, for a reserved seat - from 1700 RUR.

We know how to relax for a penny

The airport is located 17 kilometers from Anapa in the village of Vityazevo. A new terminal was opened there in 2017. The plane flies for 2 hours, the ticket costs from 2700 RUR. In summer, there are direct flights from the regions. There is a comfortable room for mother and child at the airport.

How much is housing. A small house with air conditioning, bathroom and toilet 30 minutes from the sea in the village of Blagoveshchenskaya can be rented for 1200 R per day. An all-inclusive hotel room in the center of Anapa costs from 5000 rubles.

Gelendzhik

The main attraction of Gelendzhik is the twelve-kilometer embankment: this is one of the longest coastal walking areas in Europe. There are many cafes, shops, playgrounds and other entertainment. The squares have benches under the trees - you can relax and hide from the heat. My children and I could spend half a day on the waterfront, just walking and enjoying the views. There are beaches nearby, mostly sandy and with good access to the sea.

In Gelendzhik there is the largest open-air water park in Russia - "Zolotaya Bukhta". Its area of 15 hectares is like 20 football fields. The park has not only water slides, pools and attractions, but also an arboretum with 88 plant species from all over the world. Tickets are sold not by age, but by height. For visitors from 106 to 145 cm in height, the entrance costs 900 R, for those who are taller - 1750 R. Children below 106 cm are admitted free of charge.

Even in Gelendzhik, you can go to the mountains in jeeps. There is a family route without extreme climbs with visits to waterfalls, a health park and healing mud springs.

You can arrange an excursion while walking around the city. Cars with large wheels and driver contacts are parked in many crowded places: next to Platanovaya Alley, the Burevestnik cinema, the Gelendzhik shopping center. You can also look for information on local travel sites.

How to get there. The train goes only to Novorossiysk. A ticket in a compartment costs from 2200 RUR, for a reserved seat - from 1600 RUR. Then you need to take a bus to Gelendzhik. The Novorossiysk bus station does not have a website - you can find out the schedule and buy tickets on Avtoticket.com. The fare is from 100 rubles.

A plane ticket from Moscow costs from 3500 RUR. In summer, there are direct flights from the regions. There are few flights in the off-season - you can get there by bus from Krasnodar, Novorossiysk or other large cities.

How much is housing. There are enough hotels and sanatoriums in Gelendzhik. A room with air conditioning in a private house can be rented for 700 RUR per day, a room in a good guest house will cost 3500 RUR.

It is better to go with children to the nearest villages - Divnomorskoe and Dzhanhot. They are located about 20 km from the city. There are lower prices and fewer tourists. A room two minutes from the sea with free parking will cost 3000 RUR.

Yeisk

The Sea of Azov is shallow and warm, and the climate there is not as hot as on the Black Sea coast. Rest in Yeisk can be combined with treatment at the mud deposits. There are two of them: on Lake Khan and at the base of the Dolzhanskaya Spit.

It is faster and easier to get to the Dolzhanskaya Spit - it is located just 40 kilometers from Yeisk. You can take an excursion, but it is cheaper and easier to rent a car or order a taxi for 700-800 R . If you are in your car, there are several campsites near Dolzhanskaya. On the way, you can buy fresh watermelons and melons directly from melons.

How to get there. They go to Yeisk with a change: first by train to the village of Starominskaya, then by bus, train or taxi. A compartment ticket for a train from Moscow will cost 3500 RUR, a reserved seat ticket - 1500 RUR.

Electric trains from Starominskaya run three times a day, travel time is one and a half hours, a ticket costs 150 rubles. Buses run for an hour, tickets are sold only at the bus station. Price - from 100 rubles.

You can also fly by plane to Rostov-on-Don for 5000-7000 R one way and then take a bus. Travel time is from 3.5 to 5 hours. Departure - from the city bus station at Sivers Street, 1. Tickets cost from 430 RUR and are sold on the bus station website.

How much is housing. Housing prices start from 500 RUR per person per night. Look for the most profitable options in social networks on the request "housing in Yeisk".

A small house for four with air conditioning, a washing machine, its own shower and toilet cost 2000 RUR in June, and 2400 RUR in July and August. You can find accommodation for 200 R per person, but it will be a plywood outbuilding with an outdoor shower, outdoor toilet and a shared summer kitchen.

Kuchugury

The resort village of Kuchugury is located on the shores of the Azov Sea on the Taman Peninsula. It has not yet been spoiled by the attention of tourists: the rest here is quiet and calm, suitable for very young children. Local farmers sell their fruits and vegetables at the market. Nearby there are two seas at once - the Azov and the Black.

Another popular entertainment for children is the Sochi Park amusement park. In 2017, it was ranked 23rd in the Top 25 Amusement Parks in Europe according to Tripadvisor. The space is divided into 6 thematic zones, there are playgrounds, a dolphinarium, a rope park. Every day, performances and concerts are held for children. Most of the entertainment is included in a single ticket, which costs 1900 RUR for adults and 1700 RUR for children from 5 years old.

Sochi Park is open all year round, including the winter months. In summer, it is better to go there in cloudy weather: there is nowhere to hide from the heat in the park, and children will quickly get tired in the sun.

On the territory of the park there is a castle-hotel "Bogatyr". Reviews of tourists about it are contradictory: we only went there for lunch. The buffet for four cost 1800 R and we did not like it: the choice of dishes is meager, the taste and quality are not up to par, the room is dirty. We would not dare to eat there all the time.

If you want to take a break from the heat and urban development, go to the Sochi arboretum. More than 1800 species of plants from all over the world are collected there. There are aviaries with parrots, ostriches and peacocks, swans, ducks and pelicans swim in the pond.

The two parts of the park, upper and lower, are separated by a resort avenue, and connected by a cable car. In three minutes, it raises visitors to a height of 170 meters, where there is an observation deck.

An adult ticket for the cable car costs 350 R, to the park - 250 R, for children from 7 to 14 years - 200 and 120 R, respectively. For children under seven years old, the ascent and entrance to the park are free. Payment only in cash.

How to get there. The cheapest tickets are in October, November, January and February. A roundtrip flight from Moscow costs 3000-7000 R . During the season, it is difficult to find a one-way ticket cheaper than 4000 RUR.

It takes about a day to go by train from Moscow. In summer, a ticket to a reserved seat costs from 2500 RUR, in a compartment - from 4000 RUR. There are direct routes from many Russian regions and even neighboring countries.

How much is housing. After the 2014 Winter Olympics, modern hotels and residential complexes appeared in the city. For example, there is the Omega Sirius Park hotel in the Olympic Park. A double room, even in high season, costs around 3500 RUR. In June and September - 2500 R. A spacious apartment on Airbnb can be rented from 1000 RUR per day.

Council We went-We know.
On vacation, be sure to take your compulsory medical insurance policy with you, or at least take a picture of it on your smartphone. If poisoning or injury occurs on a trip, then if you have a policy, honey. assistance will be provided free of charge.

By the way, resting with children in Russia at sea will be more comfortable if you choose hotels, boarding houses and sanatoriums according to the system “ all inclusive"- see such options in - more expensive, but more convenient.

Interested in calm rest with small children? Take your pick.

With older children, it will be interesting not only to swim, but also to go to beautiful places, go on excursions - choose an inexpensive or more comfortable resort city.

Where there are fewer tourists to relax and swim

For a quiet vacation, you need to go by yourself in a car - not necessarily on your own, now it is easy to rent a car right upon arrival at the airport (use it). As a rule, in such places there are few cafes and shops nearby. But if you choose the right hotel, then everything will be right there: beach accessories, delicious food, wine ... Calm beaches and clear sea are easy to find in and in some.

And now our list of the best places to go to the sea in Russia:

1. Rest on the Sea of Azov 2020: Golubitskaya, Kuchugury, etc.

In the photo: rest on the Sea of Azov, Kuchugury, sandy beach.

Many people do not even suspect that there are such magnificent places in Russia! Far from the hustle and bustle, where there are still not so many tourists, the beaches are sandy, the sunsets are amazing, and comfortable accommodation is located right next to the sea - yes, rest on the Sea of Azov surprises even experienced tourists who are used to rest only abroad.

How to get to the Sea of Azov? By plane - to Anapa airport... Then take a taxi, but cheaper: from Vityazevo airport to get to the city bus station in Anapa, then by bus to the Fontalovskaya station (this is the sea in Kuchugury).

Private sector and hotels on the Sea of Azov, prices 2020

Rooms in the private sector cost 600-1200 rubles per day for the whole family. There are not so many good accommodations, so the best options are booked in advance. However, if cleanliness and convenience are not critical for you on vacation, then you can easily find many options on the spot.

Council We Drove-Know
Be carefull! If you want to have a good rest, then plan your vacation in advance! Gone are the days when it was possible to rent a good room in the private sector upon arrival - such accommodation is booked several weeks in advance. And on the spot it is now possible to remove only "illiquid" (), which cannot be sold in advance and are slipped on to sluggish tourists.

How to rent good housing in the private sector and not get caught by scammers

Don't trust ads on forums and social networks! Usually they show good photos, and upon arrival they say that they are already taken, and they offer housing much worse - this is the most common type of fraud in the south of Russia. You need to shoot only on verified sites with real reviews - this is the only way you get guaranteed what you book.

For example, the private sector in Golubitskaya - the Skazka house - is cheap, cozy, clean, there is a playground in the yard:

There are also better hotels. If you are with a car, then choose with a private beach and away from the crowds of tourists.

Rest on the Sea of Azov, the beach of the hotel "Villa Grape"

A bonus will be a comfortable room with a wonderful sea view. For example, this view of the sea is from the Kuchugury hotel:

There are a lot of housing options near the sea: from expensive to cheap.

In the photo: an inexpensive vacation by the sea in Russia. Hotel "Villa Grape" is located by the sea

3. Gelendzhik: sandy beaches and holidays with children

In the photo: sandy beach and embankment in Gelendzhik

For a family vacation with children, it is difficult to think of a better place: the beaches in Gelendzhik are sandy, there is a lot of entertainment for children and the largest water park in Russia... Where is the best place to stay and which beach to choose? We have already written in great detail: - choose what you like!

4. Anapa - vacation at sea in Russia, where all inclusive

In Anapa, you can now find a completely civilized rest. At the same time, the prices for all-inclusive sea vacations with a child are quite affordable - low prices are easy to find.

For inexpensive plane tickets, see Search:

For those who are going to Anapa by their own car or arriving on their own, we have prepared - clean rooms with air conditioning, plus cheap hotels with three meals a day, a swimming pool and playgrounds.

Rest on the sea in Russia: Anapa, rest where all inclusive

5. Crimea: rest on the seashore becomes civilized

Going to the Crimea as a savage and staying in barns, where “convenience on the street” has long become bad manners, however, as well as on a voucher. Everyone is tired of the "scoop", I want a normal rest. Every year, sea holidays in Crimea are becoming more comfortable. The most advanced go to Crimea on their own by car, or arrive and rent a car at the airport - this is the secret of a good vacation in Crimea!

If you still want to have a "wild" vacation, then let it be in beautiful places with good beaches and clear sea. For example, beach "Miami", which is located in Olenevka... The only thing is that there are few hotels here, so you need to book in advance. An inexpensive room can be booked without a credit card and with a guarantee at the guest house.

In the photo: Miami beach, Olenevka, Crimea

What are the prices in Crimea now? See the latest reviews and photos.
To relax in the Crimea inexpensively near the sea, choose one of the best.

Important! If your booking in Crimea does not work, use life hack of our reader: Check the box “I hereby certify that this booking is for business purposes only” (or “I am traveling for work”) - the booking is successful. He described in more detail

Respectable vacation by the sea in Yalta

For those who are used to comfort, there are also elite apartments in Yalta in the Crimea - with a sea view. With such luxury, the price of an apartment is much cheaper than in Europe. Therefore, even a luxurious vacation in Crimea can be considered inexpensive.

You can rent a luxury apartment at least for your birthday - such a gift will definitely not be forgotten!

See prices in Yalta for a vacation by the sea

Evpatoria - comfortable hotels, sandy beaches and clear sea

The beaches in Evpatoria are considered one of the best in Crimea. And the ethno-hotel "Dzheval" is one of the most comfortable. Do you want to know what a quality European vacation is? Choose Jeval. See prices and photos.

Anton: How many have traveled around Crimea, we thought that they had already seen everything. But the Dzheval hotel surprised me. At first it seemed that the price was too high, but we decided to give it a try. And they did not regret it. This is the best hotel we have stayed at! And not only in Crimea. The feeling that you are in a European resort. Only in Europe they will ask for three times more for such a hotel. This hotel made our vacation! Now in the Crimea only here, there are no other hotels for me.

If the main thing on vacation is a low price, then choose "Sanatorium Tavria" - all inclusive, inexpensive.

6. Lazarevskoe - rest by the sea near Sochi

In Sochi, sea vacations can hardly be called cheap. See prices for holidays in Sochi. Could there be something very close to Sochi, but cheaper? Yes!

Vacation at the sea in Lazarevskoye

Fly to Sochi airport and go to Lazarevskoye by sea. This resort is cheaper, and you can even get to Sochi by public transport -. To find cheap flights, compare the prices of different airlines in the Search:

If you want a more relaxing holiday at sea, then you should go from Sochi (Adler) airport to the other side - to Abkhazia.

7. Vacation at the sea in Abkhazia - cheap and comfortable!

For those who have read this far - we tell about the best place to go in Russia by the sea... Abkhazia is not in the first place on our list just because it is not exactly Russia - it is nearby :) In all other respects, this is the best place where you can go to the sea with a Russian passport. A passport is not needed, rubles are used, local residents speak Russian.

In the photo: vacation at sea in Abkhazia

In Abkhazia, prices are lower, and rest at sea is more comfortable. Here you are much more likely to find good beaches and clear sea. In addition, there are fewer tourists on the sea in Abkhazia - the main thing is to drive away from Sukhumi to resort places, and then you can find a very inexpensive vacation on the seashore. Right on the beach!

How to get to Abkhazia

From Moscow or St. Petersburg directly to Sukhumi you can get cheap by train. The journey takes 38 and 45 hours.
Either from another city in Russia by train or plane to the Sochi airport (Adler), and from there to Sukhumi there are electric trains and buses, the journey takes 2-3 hours.

If you are driving your own or - through the checkpoint at the border across the Psou River, just go out and show your passport and documents for the car. Leave through the same checkpoint. There are no difficulties at the border, pure formality.

Where to stay

There are not many modern accommodation options in Abkhazia, mostly “soviet” private sector, which is easy to book upon arrival. However, there are quite good guest houses and even excellent inexpensive hotels, but it is better to book them in advance in order to get a civilized one at the price of a “wild” holiday. It is possible! Here are some options.

For a start, you can stay near the city of Sukhumi and close to the sea - in the guest house "Rufina" - cheap, but quite comfortable.

We go further, where there are fewer tourists, and we find the ideal in terms of price and quality guest house "Alamys" (see photos, reviews and prices), conveniently located in the resort of Gudauta, right next to the Black Sea. There are comfortable sun loungers on the beach and there are no other tourists nearby. The cleanest sea, delicious food. The sea can be admired around the clock from the balcony of the room - nothing like this on the first line by the sea in Sochi or Lazarevskoye will be found.

Rest at the sea in Abkhazia - guest house "Alamys"

In addition to the sea, Abkhazia has beautiful nature, delicious wine and food. And the prices! Probably, such low prices for seaside vacations in Russia are no longer available anywhere. Even a hotel with three meals a day costs 2 times cheaper than in Russia.

Napra in Abkhazia - an inexpensive recreation center with three meals a day

If on vacation you don't want to think about where to eat, just go to the recreation center “Napra” and have a rest:

In the photo: Napra - a hotel with three meals a day - a pleasant seaside vacation in Abkhazia

A pleasant bonus in this hotel will be a view of the Black Sea on one side and mountains on the other. See photos and prices

We also recommend you to go to the magical lake Ritsa in Abkhazia and see waterfalls and magnificent places along the way. If you don't have your own car, then contact who will help you organize everything and take you to the most beautiful places in Abkhazia, and the trip can be organized directly from Sochi.

Russia is a country in two parts of the world, a state whose territory covers the sandy Baltic Spit and the rocky islands of Chukotka, stretching from the northern arctic latitudes to the subtropics. Russia possesses unimaginable wealth - cultural and historical heritage, protected forests and untouched expanses. The elegant streets of St. Petersburg and the architectural monuments of Kaliningrad compete with the architecture of ancient cities - multi-domed churches and merchant houses, and the beaches of the Black Sea coast compete with the northern forests of Karelia and the ridges of the Ural Mountains.

Geography

Russia is the largest country on the planet in terms of area, occupying 17.1 million square kilometers. The state is located in Eurasia and covers both parts of the continent.
